Introducing the Museum Exchange Help Center

At Museum Exchange, we are always looking for ways to make the art donation process more transparent, accessible, and efficient for both donors and institutions. While every donation is unique, many of the questions that arise throughout the process are shared across our community. From creating an account to completing donation paperwork, users often benefit from having clear guidance readily available.

Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the Museum Exchange Help Center, a centralized resource designed to provide answers, guidance, and support at any stage of the donation journey.

A New Resource for Donors and Institutions

The Help Center brings together informative articles, step-by-step instructions, and practical guidance covering the most common aspects of using Museum Exchange. Whether you are creating your first listing, evaluating a potential donation, coordinating shipping, or completing required documentation, the Help Center is designed to help you navigate the process with confidence.

Topics include:

Getting Started

Learn how to create and manage your account, understand the differences between donor, representative, and institution user roles, and troubleshoot login issues.

Understanding the Donation Process

Explore the complete donation lifecycle from both sides of the donation. From submitting a listing or proposal to paperwork, logistics, and IRS compliance, users can find helpful resources about each stage of the process.

Why We Built It

The donation process often involves legal, financial, and logistical considerations that can raise questions for users on both sides of a donation. Our goal with the Help Center is to provide greater transparency, reduce uncertainty, and empower users to find answers quickly whenever they need them.

By making information more accessible, we can help donors and institutions spend less time searching for answers and more time focusing on what matters most: placing artworks where they can be preserved, studied, and enjoyed.
