Selected Donations: Summer 2026
As we transition into fall, we want to take a moment to highlight some of the donations we completed together in summer 2026.
As always, the scope of artists, mediums, and subjects represented was truly remarkable, from the stunning, layered work of MacArthur Fellow Tavares Strachan (Bahamian, b. 1979) to the captivatingly idiosyncratic work of Hadi Falapishi (Iranian, b. 1987).
Latine perspectives shone once again including those of artists like Dr. Lakra (Mexican, b. 1972), Esteban Ramón Pérez (Chicano, b. 1989), Enoc Perez (Puerto Rican, b. 1967), and Gloria Sebastián Fierro (Colombian, b. 1988), among others, demonstrating our museum members’ continued commitment to expanding representation within their collections.
Ever attuned to offering a rich and full telling of the art historical canon, this summer we likewise saw a number of museums place previous generations of practitioners at the forefront through gifts from artists like the late Jack Levine (American, 1915-2010), Pietro Antonio Narducci (Italian-American, 1915–1999), and Nadia Gould (French-born American, 1929–2007).
We’re proud to have contributed to so many fruitful connections in the last quarter, and we look forward to fostering even more in the season ahead!
