About the Artist

Kelli Connell (b. 1974, Oklahoma City, OK) is a Chicago-based photographer recognized for her thoughtful exploration of modern sexuality. This photograph is part of an extensive, ongoing series titled “Double Life,” in which a single model assumes multiple roles to portray the imagined life of a lesbian couple. Connell employs digital manipulation to craft this illusion, capturing intimate, everyday moments within the relationship.
